We are looking for an intern (3-5 months) who supports us in the following areas:

Participate in all phases of the software engineering process, including research, design, development, integration and testing: Create automated tests to validate and analyze flight performances. Design and develop GUI for our ground station. Possibility to integrate different sensors to improve and develop new flight strategies.

 

REQUIRED

Studying/degree in degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Robotics Software development experience with C/C++, ideally some Python exposure too. Ability to contribute to the architecture and design of the system. Drone or autonomous robotics experience - or a sense of ambition and passion to change the world using autonomous systems/drones. Fluent in English (verbal and written) Team-player with flexibility to take on varied tasks in a multi-disciplinary and active work environment Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship

 

DESIRED

Software development on embedded systems. Knowledge of Control system Knowledge with Linux based environments. Basic knowledge of ROS/Git Basic knowledge about sensors used in the aerospace industry. (accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, barometers, etc.)
